Welcome to Body & Soul Vancouver. A place where wellness meets design. This commercial gym project was all about clean lines, soft textures, and a calming aesthetic—because your workout space should be as inspiring as your goals.

From sculptural lighting to serene textures, this isn’t just a gym — it’s a space to elevate your fitness and your mindset. It’s a space to move, breathe, and restore. The interior exudes a sense of calm and sophistication through its carefully curated materiality, textures, and tones. The neutral color palette, dominated by warm beiges, soft whites, and sandy hues, creates a serene and inviting atmosphere.

Strength in Design

From the moment you walk in, you will see soft curves, warm neutrals, and curated essentials that set the tone for a gym experience that feels more like a lifestyle. From the inviting lounge to the elevated retail space, every detail is designed to inspire balance, movement, and calm.

The entire layout of Body & Soul was reworked to improve flow and function. The new reception area features curated retail offerings, an airy and bright lounge, and a private members cafe.

Welcome to Wellness

The vibe at Body & Soul is one that is welcoming, uplifting, and inspiring. By utilizing a neutral palette and organic textures, the refreshed interior couldn’t be more different than your typical gym.

Sweat in Style

The central personal training gym is bathed in natural light, and the bright and inviting space is further enhanced with raked plaster walls, hand-made zellige tiles, neutral rubber flooring, and full-length mirrors.

The Upper and Lower Studios provide a quiet and calming environment for small-group classes such as yoga, pilates, and barre among others. The continuous neutral palette creates a calm and welcoming environment.

If you want to get inspired for your next design project (or workout!), please continue to the tour.
