STEPHANIE BROWN, BAID RID
Owner, Principal Interior Designer in Vancouver, BC
Inspired by design and architecture from an early age, Stephanie embarked on her design journey over 20 years ago, completing her Bachelor of Applied Interior Design degree and her NCIDQ certification. Following 10-years working at a luxury design firm in Calgary Alberta, Stephanie relocated to Vancouver BC in 2011.
Upon founding Stephanie Brown Inc. in 2012, Stephanie began her pursuit of creating aspirational interiors, while embracing integrity, trust, and transparency in her firm.
With a growing team of talented designers, Stephanie's work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Dezeen, Homes & Gardens, House & Home, Style at Home, and Western Living among others.
Stephanie and her team are currently working on an exciting array of interior design projects throughout Vancouver, and internationally. When she's not designing, Stephanie enjoys renovating her own home, travelling, and riding her cruiser bike to the beach with her family.

Senior Designer
VERONICA DE VERNEUIL, DID, RID, NCIDQ
Veronica is a certified and registered interior designer with over 18 years of experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects. With a multidisciplinary background and design-build experience, she brings a strategic, detail-oriented approach that balances creativity with hands-on project delivery.
Outside of work, she’s dedicated to improving her golf swing, enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors; gardening, hiking, paddleboarding, and snowboarding.
Interior Designer
CAROLINA CIRILLO, DID
Following 4 years experience as a design store manager and completing her schooling, Carolina joined SBI in 2021 as Junior Interior Designer and Administrator. Carolina is highly organized, and manages all aspects of product administration, logistics, and general office operations.
Carolina has her Diploma in Interior Design from BCIT. She enjoys travelling to new places and experiencing new cultures and, of course, drinking wine.
Interior Designer
MELISSA MIRALLES, BID (HONS)
Melissa holds an Honours degree in Interior Design from the Wilson School of Design and studied Fine Furniture at Camosun College, leading to seven years of experience in architectural millwork for luxury residential projects.
With a background in fashion design, she brings a strong appreciation for textiles, patterns, and materiality to her work. Outside of design, Melissa enjoys experimenting with new recipes and exploring art in all its forms.
Studio Manager
KATRINA BARKES, BFA
Katrina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art with a background in property management, project coordination, and executive support, Katrina brings a strong operational foundation to the team. She plays a key role in studio organization, overseeing project logistics, vendor communication, and the day-to-day flow of office operations with a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through running, skiing, and is actively involved in her local rowing community.
